What was a simple repair became an “epic” journey…
On Saturday afternoon, during a routine flight, the leading edge of the right wing suffered a bird strike, thus curtailing operations. See the images of the repair, conducted with EAA 690’s help, done on-site at Briscoe Field. Several members of the chapter assisted throughout the week, and the chapter received a personal letter of Thanks! from EAA’s Chairman, Jack Pelton, and the crew, for their efforts.
